Subconscious Fat at 30,000 feet
I arrived hungry! I had only eaten a little fruit in the morning, a tall glass of raw milk, and a can of sardines. So, to start things off, I ate snacks before all the meat was cooked; see below.
My girlfriend prepared the above salmon dip. The crackers to the right are gluten-free, for I’m waiting to go to Europe before eating gluten again. (If you’re asking why, see this post.)
I swallowed my lactose enzyme pills and dived into the above brie-cheese dip, which is addictive and delicious. My girlfriend prepared it as well. Satisfied and already full, I sat down to watch the Taylor Swift show.
Mr. Skeptical adds. “You were watching the Super Bowl.”
“Oh yeah. There was a football game going on, too.”
Mr. Skeptical glares at me, “Don’t get cocky. You’ll never reach my level of sarcasm.”

We had little wooden plates to carry our food in.
The top right (in the pic above) is sweetbread. That is the term used to describe some of the internal glands of the cow, like the cheeks. It was delicious. Below that is blood sausage (aka black pudding), which is the cow’s blood. I love the coppery taste.
“That appears gross,” comments Mr. Skeptical.
“For those who haven’t tried it, in my opinion, they’re missing out.”
Above is my second plate of food. By this point, I felt like my stomach might explode. But that was okay, for I was excited to see if Taylor Swift would get proposed to by Travis Kelce at halftime.
Subconscious Fat at Eye-Level
Mr. Skeptical comments, “You ate all that meat, cheese, salmon, and other animal parts, with no vegetables, fiber, salad, or dessert?
“Well, there was a little fiber in the gluten-free crackers I used for the dips. And I forgot to mention there was tiramisu cake. See below.”
I only tried a small fork slice of the tiramisu cake, for I was too stuffed to eat anymore.
Mr. Skeptical gets up, “Now I say you’re missing out by not eating more tiramisu.”
“I disagree. I ate what I wanted to. You and many people forget that as you go on with life without sugar and sweets, you crave them less and less. It’s a snowball effect. Your palate changes over time. This is the secret to controlling eating habits. The delicious fatty meat I ate filled me up and left me content. I didn’t crave the tiramisu at all. I only tried it because others insisted, so I did.”
“But I enjoy eating sweets!”
“That’s great that you enjoy it. My body has adapted to eating lots of fatty meat. In my mind, I have an association that what’s good for me can taste fantastic. Humans evolved because they ate cooked fatty meat. This is homosapiens’s original food that allowed our brains to grow and evolve.”
“Well, I think you should’ve eaten more fiber and salad. I can’t imagine eating all that meat without any salad to help digest it.”
“I used to think the same thing. I remember being at a barbecue years ago, and after eating a lot of meat, I told my friend I’d better eat more salad to help digest it. He agreed. But it’s not true.”
“Fiber does help with digestion.”
“Not always. See my post on fiber here. After eating more salad that day years ago, my stomach ached. I thought the meat caused it, but looking back now, it was likely the salad, yet it might have been something else. The point is I now eat lots of meat with no salad at all, and my digestion is better than it ever was.”
“Well, I believe in a balanced diet. Moderation.”
“I think moderation is often bullshit, and this idea that we need fiber is hogwash. And I’m not the only one who believes this. See video below.
Practical Suggestions and Conclusions
Taste can’t be judged because it varies from individual to individual. However, wouldn’t it make sense to work on changing your food taste to crave what is good for you?
You can take control of your taste in food if you choose to.
Wouldn’t that be better than letting large food corporations manipulate your taste for food?
You may need help doing this.
If you do, let me know. I’m starting an online program soon to help people do exactly that.
Be aware.
