I tried magnesium. I tried magnesium cream. Some things seemed to help temporarily, but the cramps kept coming back.
Then I started paying closer attention to what was happening with hydration, electrolytes and circulation—and eventually stumbled onto a combination that has worked remarkably well for me: ginger and salt water.
Why ginger? That’s where this gets interesting.
Ginger has been studied for potential effects on nitric oxide and blood-vessel function—some of the same mechanisms that make blood flow so important to sexual function. That got me wondering whether improving circulation could also play a role in what I was experiencing with my legs.
This isn’t me claiming I’ve discovered a cure for leg cramps. It’s an N=1 experiment that worked for me after other approaches didn’t.
In this Subconscious Fat video, I break down what I tried, what failed, what finally worked—and why I think it worked.
Sometimes your own body is the most interesting experiment you’ll ever run.
Be aware.
