Great information Herman. What type of test was done to look at cardiac plaque? From what I understand the CT only looks at the hard plaque( Calcium score). Is there a test to look at the soft plack that you know of?

Yes, in the documentary, the test is called Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA). It examines the coronary arteries around the heart and can detect both calcified and non-calcified plaque. The cardiovascular imaging specialist featured in The Cholesterol Code is Dr. Matthew Budoff. A CAC (Coronary Artery Calcium) scan is also discussed, but CCTA provides the more detailed look at coronary plaque.
