There’s a lot more nuance to Move More, Eat Less. It can help one lose weight initially, but that isn’t sustainable in the long run.
One client was walking up to 16,000 steps per day. This did help him lose his first 40lbs but then he hit a brick wall and couldn’t lose anymore. He was relieved when I told him to stop walking so much; he thought he’d have to do that for the rest of his life!
