Are Women Superior to Men?
Subconscious Fat in the Gender Wars
I want to start this newsletter with a quote.
Before I can start the quote, Mr. Skeptical jumps in. “Why can’t you start by answering your question first?”
“Because there’s a quote that eloquently expresses my views.”
Mr. Skeptical rolls his eyes. “Fine, what is it?”
Mr. Skeptical adds, “Well, that makes your choice of gender superiority rather obvious.”
“Yes, it does. Do you agree with me?”
“No. I’m a man and tend to think my gender is superior. And do you really want to know what I think?”
“I got a feeling if I tell you I don’t give a shit, you’d tell me and our readers anyway.”
Mr. Skeptical leans into me with a sly smile on his face. “I think you’re just using Sir William Goldberg’s quote to look good in front of women. In other words, to get laid more.”
“No. I have legitimate reasons to say this and evidence to back it up.”
He leans back now with a smug face. “Have you read the rest of Goldberg’s quote? Share with our readers the rest of it.”
I have read all of Goldberg’s quotes. However, I didn’t feel the need to show you, the readers, but of course, asshole Mr. Skeptical must always open Pandora’s box, constantly forcing me to reveal things I don’t want to.
“Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.”
William Goldberg, author of Lord of the Flies.
Mr. Skeptical is showing off a victory smile. “I think many people would argue that you’re insinuating that women should be at home so that they could make a house a home. Many today would argue that by promoting that quote, you’re being sexist.”
“Well, I’m not. Women do just as well or better than men in the workforce. A modern version of the quote, written by Carrie West, S.B., can be seen here. Let’s cut to the chase. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty as to why women are superior to men.”
Mr. Skeptical’s eyes narrow, his jaw tenses, and he leans in closer. “I’m looking forward to proving that men are superior.”

I’m determined to start strong with the superiority of females in the animal world. “The top predators of the seas are Orcas (AKA Killer Whales). Orcas are smart and thrive in all the world’s oceans. They even kill the great white shark. And, of course, they’re a matriarch, with mothers and grandmothers controlling the decisions of the pod.”
“Well, I remember an Orca killed a human years ago.”
“Orcas have only killed humans when locked up in a tank. They’ve never killed a human in the wild.”
Mr. Skeptical rolls his eyes before saying, “Well, the king of the jungle is the male lion.”
“Yes, however, the females in a lion pride will do most of the hunting. And male lions are cruel, often killing the male young of a female lioness that isn’t their offspring.”
“Well, nursing females don’t want to procreate, so a male lion is justified in committing infanticide.”
“It’s still brutal. Males in many species in the animal world will fight and kill for a mate.”
Mr. Skeptical shrugs, “It’s all part of the evolutionary process.”
“Let’s talk about the animals most closely related to our species: the chimpanzee and bonobo. Chimpanzees are a patriarch, while bonobos are a matriarch.”
“Yes, and I know chimpanzees use tools, so many argue they are smarter.”
“But chimps are known for being aggressive and rage war against other chimp tribes. While bonobos are known for love, not war.”
“Nevertheless, war is a catalyst for innovation.”
“War is stupid. Besides, a scientific comparative MRI study found no significant differences in brain size between the two species after accounting for chimp’s larger bodies. Let’s get to the real question about which gender is superior in humans.”
Mr. Skeptical’s jaw tenses, and his hands tighten around the knob of his cane. He stands up and looks down at me, an act of confrontation.
But I ignore him and continue writing. Let him be the chimpanzee; I’ll be the bonobo.

“Let’s look at serial killers. Women serial killers in the U.S. account for only 8.6%. And up to 70% of female serial killers did it for financial gain.”
Mr. Skeptical sits back down, folding his arms. “Oh, so let me get this straight, you’re telling me that because women do it for money, it’s okay?”
“I’m not saying it’s okay to kill for cash, but it’s better than why men become serial killers.”
“Okay, why do men become serial killers?”
“There are many reasons, but more often than not, it involves sex and control.”
Mr. Skeptical leans forward, raising his right hand and pointing his index finger at me. “Yes, but most often, it involves a history of childhood trauma, which means it’s not 100% their fault. Which also means that the mother likely had something to do with the trauma. It might have only involved neglect, but that is more than enough.”
“This now brings us to the fact that women should be able to control their bodies and not have a child when they don’t want to. Abortion should be a women’s decision and right.” I see Mr. Skeptical’s eyes bulge, but I put my hands up, regretting entering that argument. “Let’s not get into women’s reproductive rights today. This is about whether women are the superior sex?”
“Yes, that’s a whole other argument.”
I sigh with relief. “Let’s look at statistics.”
I say, “As you can see from the above chart. Many women murdered are from their male partner or family member. In my opinion, that makes the crime worse.”
“A male lover most often kills women. For me, that makes the crime worst. Killing a stranger is bad enough, but someone who’s a lover is even worse.”
“Like The Pretender’s song, Thin Line Between Love and Hate. When one is close to someone, it can create betrayal, which can lead to murder. Jealously leading to threats and murder can be attributed to an evolutionary knee-jerk reaction for many men.”
“Which makes men inferior. Here’s another fact. Men reach sexual peak much earlier in life than women do.”
“So? What does that have to do with anything?”
“It means that a male teenager at 15 is likely ejaculating more at that age than he ever will. A man’s brain isn’t even fully developed at that age. Their bodies are raging with hormones, and if they don’t have a girlfriend, they’re often masturbating. Women tend to orgasm more when in their 30s and continue to do so frequently until old age.”
“For the men, are you talking from experience?”
“No. A lot of studies indicate this.”
Mr. Skeptical squints his eyes at me, shooting me with skepticism. “Are you talking about sexologist Alfred Kinsey? He wrote a book in 1953. However, a lot of his findings are now viewed as inaccurate.”
Ugh, I hate it when he gets so damn technical and nerdy. “I think most men would agree that a man in his 40s or 50s doesn’t ejaculate as often as he did when he was 16.”
“Again, you’re still speaking from personal experience. Since the last few women you’ve dated have been in their 40s, does this mean you think they have a higher sex drive?”
He’s trying to get personal with me again. Jerk. “They’re a lot of factors that play a role in sex. My main point is this. Overall, men tend to reach sexual peak earlier than women, which makes men more dangerous because their emotions and brains aren’t as developed.”
“Hmmm, I’m not convinced.”
“Unfortunately, it’s a common theme in war. Young men will often rape innocent civilians during a war. It was brought to light in the U.S. during the Vietnam War. During World War 2, Russian generals openly condoned a soldier’s right to rape the innocent civilians of their enemies.”
“All of this still doesn’t answer the question of which gender is superior.”
“Fine. Let’s look at two celebrity individuals representing the lowest point a man and a woman can reach, and therefore shed light on the superior gender.”
Subconscious Fat at Eye-Level
In my opinion, the comedian Bill Cosby represents for men how low a man can go. He’d drug women, making them unconscious to rape them.
On the other gender, we have the singer Cardi B. Who has admitted that during her past stripper days, she’d drug a man to rob his money.
“What’s the lesser of the two evils? To rape or rob?” I pantomime my hands up and down, demonstrating a scale.
Mr. Skeptical sighs. But it wasn’t a sigh of defeat. “So, men can do terrible things, and maybe they’re more likely to do so than women. But that doesn’t make them inferior to women.”
“Take flirting, for example. In my experience, women can flirt more easily than men. A woman can derive energy and confidence by flirting, yet for a young man, it’ll lead to sexual frustration.”
“But not all men will get frustrated.”
“No, not all. An older, wiser man can enjoy the harmless flirting and not get frustrated.”
Mr. Skeptical pouts his lips and tilts his head to the side. “Since you’re 54 years old, sounds like you’re touting your own horn here.”
Damn it. Now, I’m frustrated. There’s no winning this argument. But I remember another difference between men and women. “Young men need to brag about their sexual conquests; in general, women do so less.”
“Sounds like you’re speaking from experience again.”
“I’ll admit when I was younger, after a sexual dalliance, the urge to tell my close friends was high.”
Mr. Skeptical feigns a shocked face. “You weren’t a gentleman about it. You bragged about your sexual conquests!”
“I always made sure it wouldn’t negatively affect the woman. I only told close friends or family I could trust, yet I’ll admit I felt a need to brag. I don’t think women have that urge to boast about their sexual exploits. I think society generally approves of a man bragging about his sexual conquests but not women.”
“I agree with you about society approving of it more for men than women. Yet just because women keep their mouths shut more and don’t have that urge to boast doesn’t make them superior. What you see as societal acceptance is really an evolutionary outgrowth. From an evolutionary standpoint, women benefit by appearing not to have a huge sexual past because it makes them more attractive to males.”
“Therefore, women are being smart by not talking so much, which one could argue makes them superior.”
Mr. Skeptical folds his arms and shakes his head. “One could also argue that a man with more sexual experience might appear more attractive to women. One could argue that the male sexual braggart has an advantage in being so, making men more superior.”
Ugh, this is getting frustrating; I feel like a dog chasing its tail.
Practical Suggestions and Conclusions
Arguing over the superior gender is often a pointless argument. So, I don’t enjoy engaging in it.
“You shouldn’t, for you haven’t changed my opinion that men are superior.”
I give Mr. Skeptical a dirty look before continuing. “The fact of the matter is that for right now, we need both genders for humanity to continue. I do personally believe that women are superior to men. The movie Barbie made fun of gender wars and was quite entertaining. I liked it better than Oppenheimer.”
“I think you’re saying that to look good.” He raises his hands, flowing them in the air to make his point. “So that you can appear to be progressive and enlightened.”
“I’m not trying to appear as anything. I fell asleep watching Oppenheimer; I didn’t with Barbie. I also have close people in my life who are trans and non-binary.”
“Oh, do tell us. What experience do you have with trans individuals?”
“I have a trans son who recently had top surgery to remove his breasts. He’s comfortable being called ‘he’ or ‘they’. And this brings up another point. Due to the miracles of modern medicine, people can change their sex. And not everybody wants to become only a woman or only a man. If there really were a superior gender, then those who want to transition would only be doing so into the superior sex. This also proves that this debate is pointless.”
“You’ve never had sex with a trans-person?”
Why does he jump to sex first? He’s trying to get personal again. “You’re asking me insinuatingly like I should feel ashamed of it. No one should ever feel ashamed of having sex with anybody, of any sex, as long as it’s with a consenting adult. I’ve never had sex with a trans person, but if I did, I’d admit it.”
He puts his hands up and shrugs his shoulders. “I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t more Subconscious Fat on your end.”
“Well, today, you’re truly defeated because you haven’t convinced me that women are superior.”
“I don’t feel defeated because it’s a stupid argument unless you’re watching the Barbie movie.”
He gets up and does a little victory dance, shaking his hips side to side, singing, “Men are the best. Men are the superior gender.”
I’m reminded why I believe keeping a gun in a home is not a good idea. Because if I had one, I’d be tempted to shoot him. Or maybe I’m just being a man.
In conclusion, think twice if you want to argue over the superior gender. I believe it’s a topic that will vary significantly in opinions and not worth debating over…again unless you just finished watching the Barbie movie.
Till next time, remember, be aware.
